Inria Saclay - Île-de-France greets experts of Engineering systems

On October, 9th, Inria Saclay - Île-de-France research centre will host a technical tour organized by AFIS (Association Française d’Ingénierie Système), SystemX and ENSTA ParisTech and present the Wilder video wall.

For the occasion of the 25th anniversary of INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering), AFIS, SystemX and ENSTA ParisTech are organizing the first AFIS EMEA Workshop gathering experts of Engineering systems. SystemX Technological Research Institute and ENSTA ParisTech, both AFIS members, will host this AFIS EMEA Workshop at Palaiseau. 

The objective of this workshop is to meet with experts coming from different domains of Systems Engineering and different countries of EMEA sector of INCOSE. Working sessions will be organized on October, 7th and 8th. 

On October, 9th, the technical tour organized will encompass a visit to Dassault Systèmes and Inria's Wilder video wall with a demonstration of the project team Ilda on railway traffic.

The Wilder video wall, composed of 75 screens, is part of the Digiscope Equipement d’Excellence programme and is the successor to the Wild project. As well as being bigger than its predecessor, Wilder incorporates screens with virtually invisible edges. The array is designed to allow scientists to view very large images and explore complex data with astonishing comfort.
