Instilling a taste for science
Inria supports academic initiatives (Mathematical Olympiads, academic mathematics nurseries, mathematics departments in secondary schools) aimed at arousing pupils' interest in science subjects by encouraging contact between researchers, teachers and secondary pupils.
Conferences for trainee teachers, publishing, holding classes – the Institute has already signed partnership agreements with the educational authorities of Créteil, Versailles, Paris, Montpellier, Nice, Nancy-Metz and Lille.
