In today's increasingly complex digital landscape, knowledge graphs play a pivotal role for organising and contextualising data within information systems, providing a structured and interconnected representation of knowledge that facilitates efficient data retrieval, analysis, and decision-making processes. The Wimmics team proposes to study knowledge graph based AI models and methods for information systems on the Web. It focuses on the challenges of supporting the life-cycle of knowledge graphs and developing hybrid AI methods to construct, enrich, exploit and interact with knowledge graphs with the final aim of improving knowledge graph based information systems on the Web. Wimmics (2.0) is a joint research team between Centre Inria d'Université Côte d'Azur (UniCA) and I3S (CNRS and Université Côte d'Azur). It is a follow-up of the teams Wimmics (1.0), Edelweiss and Acacia.
