The goal of this consortium is to promote Pharo and its ecosystem, to allow the definition of its road map, and to provide support to developers and the user community. Around the Pharo software, a set of private and commercial contributors have gathered to allow the maintenance of the core and its software ecosystem.

The goal of the Pharo software is to provide a clear, innovative, free and open source development environment through a light and stable core as well as high quality integrated development tools allowing the deployment of critical applications.
Founding members
Among the members of this consortium are industrialists such as Synectique, Thales, Lifeware, but also academics such as Inria, the Faculty of Information Technology in Prague or the Fundación Argentina de Smalltalk.
