Bayesian inference with realistic physiological priors for electrical impedance tomography (EIT)
Bayesian inference with realistic physiological priors for electrical impedance tomography (EIT)

This project aims to use Bayesian inference methods to solve inverse biomedical problems, using realistic physiological a priori. The primary application is electrical impedance tomography (EIT), which enables non-invasive imaging of conductivities and geometries in the human body. To obtain physiological a priori to incorporate into the Bayesian formulation, we will build a library of realistic images from modalities such as CT or MRI.
