Tasks:

This Master's 1 internship focuses on learning how to use and operate the Inria Valse team's experimental drone platform. The intern will be required to familiarize themselves with the platform's hardware and software architecture, as well as the associated simulation and/or testing tools.

Initially, the intern will study drone control algorithms from scientific literature, focusing on single-agent approaches (control of an individual drone). These algorithms will then be implemented, tested, and validated on the platform.

Particular attention will be paid to practical implementation aspects, performance analysis (stability, accuracy, robustness, coordination), and difficulties encountered during development.

Finally, the intern will write a detailed report documenting:

the steps taken to learn how to use the drone platform,

the methodological and technical choices made,

the algorithms implemented,

the results obtained and their analysis,

and the prospects for improvement and continuation of the work.
