Conférence scientifique

The Ninth International Workshop on Coding and Cryptography 2015

This is the ninth in the series of biannual workshops  Coding and Cryptography. It is organized by INRIA and will be held in Paris at the Institut Henri Poincaré (IHP). Our aim is to bring together researchers in all aspects of coding theory, cryptography and related areas, theoretical or applied.

  • Date : 13/04/2015 to 17/04/2015
  • Place : Institut Henri Poincaré (IHP) - 11 Rue Pierre et Marie Curie, 75005 Paris
  • Guest(s) : Daniel J. Katz (California State University, Northridge, USA), Swastik Kopparty (Rutgers University, USA), Emmanuel Thomé (INRIA, France)

Selection for conference presentation will be made on the basis of an extended abstract. Those wishing to contribute a talk are invited to submit a 6-10 page extended abstract, before January 19, 2015. Extended abstracts of accepted presentations will be collected, and made available online during the conference and for future reference. More details of the submission procedure can be found in the submission section.

Deadline relaxation

The deadline for WCC 2015 falls on the same days as the deadline for ISIT-2015. If you are short on time and need a few more days, you may submit a single page before January 19, with a title, the authors names, and a short abstract. Please send an email to if you used this option. You will be allowed to submit your 6-10 pages extended abstract until January 25 .

Full papers

After the conference, authors of accepted abstracts will have the option to submit a full version. After a second thorough refereeing process, the best papers will appear in a special issue of the journal  Designs, Codes and Cryptography .

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Coding theory: error-correcting codes, decoding algorithms, related combinatorial problems;
  • Algorithmic aspects of cryptology: symmetric cryptology, public-key cryptography, cryptanalysis;
  • Discrete mathematics and algorithmic tools related to these two areas, such as: Boolean functions, sequences, finite fields, related algebraic systems...
